Performance comparison of maceration method, soxhletation method, and microwave-assisted extraction in extracting active compounds from soursop leaves (Annona muricata): A review

چکیده
Abstract Soursop ( Annona muricata ) is a plant that widely available in Indonesia. Of all parts of the soursop plant, leaves are most interesting to be studied. part investigated because have many benefits and been applied health sector, both traditional modern. This contain active compounds such as alkaloids, terpenoids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, acetogenins, others. The purpose this review compare best methods commonly used extract from leaves. studied were maceration, soxhletation microwave assisted extraction (MAE). mechanism processes percentage yield achieved three also reviewed. results show MAE method produces highest with 33.98%. has another advantage shorter time.
